The Apian-Gymnasium Ingolstadt is a Gymnasium in Ingolstadt, Bavaria established in 1971. It was named after Peter Apian and his son Philipp Apian. Peter Apian was a mathematician at the University of Ingolstadt, Bavaria's oldest university.

Manching is a municipality in the district of Pfaffenhofen, in Bavaria, Germany. It is situated on the river Paar, 7 km southeast of Ingolstadt. In the late Iron Age, there was a Celtic settlement, the Oppidum of Manching, on the location of present-day Manching. Manching is situated 4 km southeast of Ringsee.
