It is approximately 5 km northwest of Nienburg, and 30 km south of Verden, around the conjunction of Wohlenhauser Strasse and Sulinger Strasse, at roughly latitude 52.667 and longitude 9.150. Lemke is situated 4 km northeast of Moorgraben.

Liebenau is a municipality in the district of Nienburg, in Lower Saxony, Germany. It is situated on the left bank of the Weser, approx. 10 km southwest of Nienburg, and 40 km northeast of Minden. Liebenau was the seat of the former Samtgemeinde Liebenau. Liebenau is situated 4½ km south of Moorgraben.
