Moabit

Moabit is an inner city locality in the borough of , , Germany. As of 2022, about 84,000 people lived in Moabit. First inhabited in 1685 and incorporated into Berlin in 1861, the former industrial and working-class neighbourhood is fully surrounded by three watercourses, which define its present-day border.

The is an 18th-century neoclassical monument in , Germany. One of the best-known landmarks of the country, it was erected on the site of a former that marked the start of the road from Berlin to , the former capital of the Margraviate of Brandenburg.

is the main railway station in , Germany. It came into full operation two days after a ceremonial opening on 26 May 2006. It is located on the site of the historic Lehrter Bahnhof, and on the Berlin S-Bahn suburban railway.
