At 264 meters, the Lousberg is a prominent elevation on the northern edge of the historic center of , which was laid out as a forest and mountain park at the beginning of the 19th century according to plans by Maximilian Friedrich Weyhe.

The Water Tower Belvedere is a water tower of reinforced concrete construction in , , located on the Lousberg hill. It was built from 1956 to 1958 according to the plans of architect Wilhelm Fischer, who was also the city planning inspector at the time.
