Lohheide is an unincorporated area in the district of Celle, in Lower Saxony, Germany. It covers an area of 91.32 square kilometres and has 764 inhabitants. Together with administrative area of Osterheide it is part of the Bergen-Hohne Military Training Area.Places of Interest

Schloss Bredebeck
Castle
Schloss Bredebeck was built in 1901/1902 by a farmer, Herr Hellberg. It is actually a manor house in terms of its size and function. The house is located in woodland in the German state of Lower Saxony between the former villages of Hörsten and Hohne, which disappeared in the 1930s in the wake of the establishment of Bergen-Hohne Training Area.

Bergen-Belsen, or Belsen, was a Nazi concentration camp in what is today Lower Saxony in northern Germany, southwest of the town of Bergen near Celle. Originally established as a prisoner of war camp, in 1943, parts of it became a concentration camp. Bergen-Belsen Memorial is situated 4 km southeast of Lohheide.

The Sieben Steinhäuser also Siebensteinhäuser is a group of five dolmens on the Lüneburg Heath in the NATO training area of Bergen-Hohne, in the state of Lower Saxony in northern Germany. Sieben Steinhäuser is situated 4½ km northwest of Lohheide.
