Ilchberg

Ilchberg is a hamlet in Wildsteig, Weilheim-Schongau, Bavaria and has an elevation of 907 metres. Ilchberg is situated nearby to the hamlet Seemühle, as well as near Seehaus.

The Pilgrimage Church of Wies is a Roman Catholic oval Rococo church, designed in the late 1740s and completed in 1754. It is the major work of the brothers Johann Baptist and Dominikus Zimmermann, the latter of whom lived nearby for the last eleven years of his life. Wieskirche is situated 3½ km south of Ilchberg.

Rottenbuch is a municipality in the Weilheim-Schongau district, in Bavaria, Germany. It is the site of Rottenbuch Abbey church. Its name stems from a beech tree clearing; it is common in Germany to find place names based on tree clearings. Rottenbuch is situated 4½ km northeast of Ilchberg.
