The island Frauenchiemsee, often called Fraueninsel, is the second largest of the three islands in Chiemsee lake, Germany. It belongs to the municipality of Chiemsee in the Upper Bavarian district of Rosenheim, which is the smallest municipality in all of Bavaria.
