Trabolgan Holiday Village

Trabolgan is a self catering holiday village on a 140-acre site which was a former country estate in the civil parish of Trabolgan, County Cork, Ireland. The holiday camp was registered on 1 May 1984 and officially opened on 29 June 1985.

Roche’s Point Lighthouse

Roche's Point Lighthouse is situated at the entrance to Cork Harbour, Ireland. A lighthouse was first established on 4 June 1817 to guide ships into Cork Harbour. Roche’s Point Lighthouse is situated 2½ km west of Roche Mount.

Aghada Power Station

Aghada power station is a gas-fired power station located near the entrance of Cork Harbour in Aghada, County Cork. It was built at this location in order to use gas that had been discovered at the nearby Kinsale Head gas field, from which gas was extracted from 1978 until its depletion in 2020. Aghada Power Station is situated 4 km north of Roche Mount.

Whitegate is a small village in East Cork on the eastern shore of Cork Harbour in County Cork, Ireland. It lies within the townlands of Ballincarroonig and Corkbeg. Whitegate is situated 3 km north of Roche Mount.

Crosshaven

Crosshaven is a coastal village in County Cork, with a population of 3300 in 2022. It's at the point where the River Owenabue flows into Cork Harbour, and its Irish name is Bun an Tabhairne, "mouth of the river Sabhrann".

Cobh

Cobh is a port in Cork Harbour, County Cork, in southwest Ireland. It's pronounced "cove" and that's what it means, a sheltered harbour. It's part of the commuter belt for Cork city and in 2022 had a population of 14,000.
