Church Mountain, also called Slieve Gad, is the westernmost of the Wicklow Mountains in Ireland. It is 544 metres high. At the summit are the remains of a large ancient cairn of pagan origin. Church Mountain is situated 4 km northeast of Donard.

Sugarloaf is a 552 metres peak in west County Wicklow, Ireland that lies on the northern edge of the Glen of Imaal. With a prominence of only 14 metres, it is not listed in any of the recognised categories of mountains in Ireland, and is a subsidiary summit of Lobawn 636 metres, to the north. Sugarloaf is situated 4 km east of Donard.

A population of less than 100 people registered in the 2002 Census, though the community draws from a larger area which consists of about 500 people. Hollywood is situated 8 km north of Donard.
