Knockadoon Head is a headland and national nature reserve with Capel Island of approximately 353 acres located in County Cork, Ireland. It is partly managed by the Irish National Parks & Wildlife Service, with areas under private ownership.

Ballymacoda is a small village in County Cork, Ireland. As of the 2016 census, the village had a population of 185 people. Located in East Cork, the village is home to one pub, a post office, and Saint Peter in Chains Roman Catholic church. Ballymacoda is situated 6 km west of Capel Island.
