Németkér is a village in Tolna County, Hungary. It is located at about 100 km south of Budapest. It belongs to the small area Paks. Németkér was founded in 1785 by the Abbey Földvár and German settlers colonized, who had followed the call of the Habsburg monarchy, to settle the land after the completion of the Turkish wars. Németkér is situated 5 km northwest of Lóhegypuszta.

Paks is a small town in Tolna county, in the south of Hungary, on the right bank of the Danube River, 100 km south of Budapest. Paks as a former agricultural settlement is now the home of the only Hungarian nuclear power plant, which provides about 50% of the country's electricity consumption. Paks is situated 9 km south of Lóhegypuszta.
