Stříbřec is a municipality and village in Jindřichův Hradec District in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 400 inhabitants. Stříbřec lies approximately 17 kilometres south-west of Jindřichův Hradec, 30 km east of České Budějovice, and 123 km south of Prague.
