Sázava is a municipality and village in Žďár nad Sázavou District in the Vysočina Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 700 inhabitants. Sázava lies approximately 7 kilometres west of Žďár nad Sázavou, 26 kilometres north-east of Jihlava, and 119 kilometres south-east of Prague.
