Węgliniec is a town in Zgorzelec County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland, close to the border with Germany. It is the seat of the administrative district called Gmina Węgliniec. As of 2024, the town has a population of 2,642. Węgliniec is situated 4½ km southwest of Staw Czarci.
