Petrčane is a resort village located some 12 kilometres north of the town of Zadar, Croatia. Petrčane, historically sometimes referred to as Petrčani, is a 900-year old village with a population of 601 as of 2011. Petrčane is situated 3½ km northeast of Zadarski Kanal.

Ugljan is a village on an island also named Ugljan, in Preko municipality, Zadar County, Croatia. It is connected by the D110 highway. According to the 2011 census, it has a population of 1,278. Ugljan is situated 4½ km southwest of Zadarski Kanal.

Ugljan is an island in Northern Dalmatia, Croatia. It is the closest of the Zadar Archipelago islands to the mainland, lying just across the Zadar Channel from the city of Zadar, and is sometimes called the "Olive Island" for the centuries-old olive groves that cover its hills.
