Sućuraj is the smallest town on the island of Hvar in the Croatian part of the Adriatic Sea, 3 nmi from the Dalmatian coast and 77 km from the town of Hvar.

Drvenik is a coastal town of 420 people on the Makarska coast between Split and Dubrovnik, 24 km south-east from Makarska. Drvenik consists of two settlements, Gornja and Donja Vala, about a kilometre apart.
