St. Nicholas Fortress

St. Nicholas Fortress is a fortress located at the entrance to St. Anthony Channel, near the town of Šibenik in central Dalmatia, Croatia. It was included in UNESCO's World Heritage Site list as part of "Venetian Works of Defence between 16th and 17th centuries: Stato da Terra – western Stato da mar" in 2017.

The Cathedral of St. James in Šibenik, Croatia, is a triple-nave Catholic basilica with three apses and a dome. It is the episcopal seat of the Šibenik diocese. Šibenik Cathedral is situated 3½ km northeast of Hrid Ročni.

Jadrija is a city district in Šibenik, Croatia. It is a popular seaside resort located on a man-made peninsula at the entrance of the St. Anthony Channel leading to Šibenik.

Zlarin

Zlarin is a small island off the Dalmatian coast of Croatia near the mainland city of Šibenik. Administratively, it is part of Šibenik-Knin County. In the winter time, the island has a population of 284, but from March to October its population grows substantially to 1,500 people, mainly because people relocate from Šibenik in the warmer months. Zlarin is situated 3 km southwest of Hrid Ročni.

Šibenik is one of the oldest Croatian self-governing cities on the Adriatic, the capital and cultural, educational, administrative and economic center of Šibenik-Knin County, and is also the third-largest town in the Dalmatian region.
