It is located just west of the confluence of the Una into the Sava, and connected by the D47 highway to Jasenovac in the north, and Dubica in the southwest. Uštica is situated 3 km northeast of Vučijak.

Jasenovac is a village and a municipality in Croatia, in the southern part of the Sisak-Moslavina County at the confluence of the river Una into Sava. In Croatian "jasen" means ash tree and the name Jasenovac means "ashen, or made of ash tree". Jasenovac is situated 3½ km north of Vučijak.
