Kilronan Castle

Kilronan Castle, previously known as Castle Tenison, is a large country house standing in 40 acres of parkland on the shore of Lough Meelagh in County Roscommon, Ireland, 2 kilometres from the village of Ballyfarnon.

Arigna Mining Experience

The Arigna Mining Experience is a centre dedicated to the coal mining history of Arigna over a period of 400 years, local geology and coal, as well as new forms of renewable energy. It is Ireland's first museum dedicated to coal mining. Arigna Mining Experience is situated 3½ km east of Tullytawen.

Ballyfarnon is a village in northern County Roscommon, Ireland. Built on the River Feorish at the foot of Arigna Mountain, it lies between Loughs Skean and Meelagh with Lough Arrow, Lough Allen, Lough Bo and Lough-na-Sool nearby.

Keadue, officially Keadew, is a village in County Roscommon, Ireland. It is on the R284 and R285 regional roads close to the borders of County Leitrim and County Sligo. Keadew is situated 3½ km southeast of Tullytawen.

Arigna is a village in the far north of County Roscommon in the west of Ireland. It is near Lough Allen, on a designated scenic route between Keadue and Sliabh an Iarainn. Arigna is situated 4½ km east of Tullytawen.
