Uvac was one of the two end stations of the Bosnian Eastern Railway, which had been built from Sarajevo to Uvac and Vardište during the Austro-Hungarian rule in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Uvac is situated 3 km southwest of Veliki Brdo.
