Ries is the 10th district of the Austrian city of Graz. It is named after a hill range in it. Ries borders the districts of Mariatrost and Geidorf to the west, and St. Leonhard and Waltendorf to the south.

Mariatrost is the 11th district of the Austrian city of Graz. It has a population of 9.998 and an area of 13,99km². The Mariatrost Basilica, a famous pilgrimage site, is situated within the district, as is the Graz Tramway Museum. Mariatrost is situated 2½ km northwest of Marienhof.
