Hammarland is a municipality of Åland, an autonomous region of Finland. Its entire population of 1,640 people speak Swedish, with 90% having it as their first language.

Jomala is a municipality in Åland, surrounding the capital city of Mariehamn. With 5,000 inhabitants it is the second largest municipality on the islands, largely due to commuters to Mariehamn.

Mariehamn is the capital, and the only town of the Åland islands. On the Finnish mainland, it's called by its Finnish name Maarianhamina in ferry schedules and such, but you'll rarely see this in town as less than 6% of the population of 12,000 speaks Finnish.
