Kaisosi is a settlement in the region of north-eastern , situated about 5 kilometres outside . It is located between the Trans-Caprivi highway and the Maria Mwengere gravel road.

With around 63,000 inhabitants, is the second largest city in Namibia and the main city of the region in northeastern Namibia. The city sits on a hill on the south bank of the Okavango, the border river to Angola to the north of the river.
