Durbanville, previously called Pampoenkraal, is a town in the Western Cape province of South Africa, part of the greater Cape Town metropolitan area. It is a semi-rural residential suburb on the north-eastern outskirts of the metropolis, surrounded by farms producing wine and wheat. Durbanville is situated 7 km south of Vrymsfontein.

Klipheuwel is a village of about 2,300 people situated 15 kilometres north of Durbanville, in the Western Cape province of South Africa. In the 1920s it was the site of a shortwave transmitter constructed by the Marconi Company as part of the Imperial Wireless Chain. Klipheuwel is situated 9 km northeast of Vrymsfontein.
