Klapmuts is the name of both a hill, and a town which formed at its foot. They are located in Cape Winelands District Municipality in the Western Cape province of South Africa.

Simondium is a hamlet 8 kilometres south of Paarl in western South Africa. It was named after Pierre Simond, Huguenot minister at the Cape. Simondium is situated 10 km southeast of Klapmuts.
