Kalbaskraal is a settlement in the Swartland Local Municipality in the Western Cape province of South Africa. It was established in 1898 at the site of a railway junction for the narrow gauge railway to Hopefield and eventually Saldanha. Kalbaskraal is situated 9 km northwest of Droëvlei.

Klipheuwel is a village of about 2,300 people situated 15 kilometres north of Durbanville, in the Western Cape province of South Africa. In the 1920s it was the site of a shortwave transmitter constructed by the Marconi Company as part of the Imperial Wireless Chain. Klipheuwel is situated 10 km south of Droëvlei.
