Brandur is a small, uninhabited island in the Vestmann Islands, south of Iceland. The name of the island derives from an ancient Icelandic tale about a cat named Brandur, that swam its way to the island from one of the adjacent islands.

Stórhöfði is a peninsula and the southernmost point of Heimaey, the largest island in the Vestmannaeyjar archipelago, in Iceland. It is claimed to be the windiest place in Europe, and holds the record for the lowest on land observation of air pressure in Europe.
