Tlapanaloya is a town in the municipality of Tequixquiac in Mexico State in Mexico. The town is bordered on the north La Heredad Ranch ranching The Homestead, south to the Tajo de Tequixquiac, east village Hueypoxtla and west by the town of Santiago Tequixquiac. Tlapanaloya is situated 3½ km northwest of Hueypoxtla.

Tequixquiac is a town in the north of the State of Mexico. It is known mainly for the sanctuary of the Lord of the Chapel, patron saint of this place and the main reason for visiting the municipality within the so-called religious tourism, this occurs between January and February.
