Viñales Valley is a karstic depression in Cuba. The valley has an area of 132 km2 and is located in the Sierra de los Órganos mountains, just north of Viñales in the Pinar del Río Province. Viñales Valley is situated 9 km south of La Costanera.

Puerto Esperanza is a small seaside town in Pinar del Rio Province, just north of Viñales. The beach apparently is not Varadero but it's an authentically relaxed Cuban fishing town with very few foreign tourists.
