Caimito is a municipality and town in Artemisa Province of Cuba. The town was founded in 1820. The municipality of Caimito del Guayabal was created in 1910, based on the previously existing municipality of Guayabal in the Pinar del Río Province.

Bauta is a municipality and town located 40 km southwest of Havana City, in the Artemisa Province of Cuba since 2010 as a result of the division of what was the Province of Havana. Bauta is situated 6 km northeast of Caimito.
