Arikok National Park

Arikok National Park, covering 7,907 acres in the northeastern region of Aruba, was officially established in 2000. Approximately 20% of Aruba's total land area is designated as a National Park, dedicated to safeguarding the park's biodiversity, geological formations and historical and cultural significance.

Jamanota

Jamanota is a hill situated within Aruba's Arikok National Park, reaching a height of 188 metres and holding the distinction of being the highest point on the island. Jamanota is situated 3 km southwest of Rooi Tambú.

Quadiriki Caves

The Quadiriki Caves, also spelled as Guadirikiri Caves or Quadirikiri Cave, are situated in Arikok National Park on the island of Aruba. These caves, located at the base of a limestone terrace, contain Amerindian petroglyphs. Quadiriki Caves is situated 3½ km southeast of Rooi Tambú.

Savaneta

Savaneta is a town and region in southeastern Aruba. Until 1797, it was the island's capital city. It is home to the island's oldest surviving home, a 150-year-old cas di torto, or mud hut.

San Nicolaas

San Nicolaas is 19 kilometres southeast of Oranjestad, and is Aruba's second largest city. As of 2010 it has a population of 15,283, many of whom originate from the British Caribbean and the rest of the Caribbean. San Nicolaas is situated 8 km south of Rooi Tambú.
