San Cristóbal Volcano

San Cristóbal Volcano, also known by its aboriginal name Tepemesquián from the Nawat language, is the highest volcano in at 1,745 m. Located near the northwest corner of the country, close to the border with , it forms a backdrop to the city of , in the department of .
