San Dionisio is a small municipality in the Matagalpa department of Nicaragua. Originally named Espino Blanco, the town was renamed San Dionisio in honor of Dionisio de Herrera, former President of Nicaragua. San Dionisio is situated 2½ km northeast of Ocote de Abajo.
