Mojanda is an inactive stratovolcano of the Eastern Cordillera of the Andes in northern Ecuador. A summit caldera, which was produced by an explosive Plinian Eruption that marked the end of Mojanda activity 200,000 years ago, is occupied by three crater lakes: Karikucha, Yanakucha, and Warmikucha.

Cochasquí is one of the most extensive and most important complexes of pre-Columbian and pre-Inca Empire ruins in northern Ecuador. The site lies some 30 kilometres northeast of Quito in Pedro Moncayo Canton in Pichincha Province at 3,040 metres above sea level. Cochasquí is situated 8 km southwest of Laguna Chiquita.
