San Francisco de Bánica, or simply Bánica, is a town and municipality in the northwest region of Dominican Republic in the Elías Piña province. It is located on the border with Haiti near the Artibonite river. Bánica is situated 3½ km east of Fort Biassou.

Pedro Santana is a town in the province of Elías Piña in the Dominican Republic. It is located on the border region with Haiti. The name of the town is in honor of Pedro Santana, the first constitutional president of the country, and general in the Dominican War of Independence. Pedro Santana is situated 4½ km northeast of Fort Biassou.
