Quartier-Morin is a commune in the Cap-Haïtien Arrondissement, in the Nord department of Haiti. It has 19,241 inhabitants. General Eugene Francois Magloire was born here in 1840 and his son The former president Paul Eugene Magloire was born here in 1907.

Limonade is a commune in the Cap-Haïtien Arrondissement, in the Nord department of Haiti. It has 69,256 inhabitants. Christopher Columbus and his crew celebrated the first Christmas in the Americas at Limonade in 1492. Limonade is situated 4½ km east of Carre.

Cap-Haïtien is the second largest city in Haiti with a population of 275,000 in 2015. It lies along a bay on the northern coast of the country. When Haiti was the French colony of Saint Domingue, the city was the colony's capital, then called Cap Parisian or Cap Francais.
