Somerset is a small, unincorporated village in the northwest area of Bermuda, located in Sandys Parish. It lies in the northern half of Somerset Island.

HMD Bermuda was the principal base of the Royal Navy in the Western Atlantic between American independence and the Cold War. The Imperial fortress colony of Bermuda had occupied a useful position astride the homeward leg taken by many European vessels from the New World since before its settlement by England in 1609. Royal Naval Dockyard is situated 3½ km northeast of Current Island.

Spanish Point

Village

Spanish Point is a prominent headland in Bermuda. It is located in Pembroke Parish five kilometres to the northwest of the capital Hamilton. It forms the eastern coast at the entrance to the Great Sound. Spanish Point is situated 4½ km east of Current Island.
