Huáscar is an ironclad turret ship owned by the Chilean Navy built in 1865 for the Peruvian government. It is named after the 16th-century Inca emperor, Huáscar. Huáscar is situated 4 km southwest of Muelle El Parrón.

The Astilleros y Maestranzas de la Armada, better known by the acronym ASMAR, is a Chilean state-owned shipbuilding company with autonomous administration, which provides services to the Chilean Navy, mainly, and also to other domestic and foreign customers. ASMAR is situated 2 km south of Muelle El Parrón.
