Hokatu is a village on the island of Ua Huka in the Marquesas Islands in French Polynesia. It is about 3 kilometres to the southwest of Hane. Motuhane Island is off the coast of Hokatu. Hokatu is situated 4 km west of Hanatete.

Vaipae'e is the most populous settlement on the island of Ua Huka, in the Marquesas Islands of French Polynesia. It is the chief town in the commune of Ua-Huka, and is located in the southern part of the island, to the northwest of Ua Huka Airport. Vaipae’e is situated 10 km west of Hanatete.
