Haʻamonga ʻa Maui

Haʻamonga ʻa Maui is a stone trilithon located in Tonga, on the eastern part of the island of Tongatapu, in the village of Niutōua, in Heketā. It was built in the 13th century by King Tuʻitātui in honor of his two sons. Haʻamonga ʻa Maui is situated 2½ km east of Kolonga.

Niutoua is a village in Tongatapu, Tonga. It is located close to the Ha'amonga 'a Maui stone on the extreme northeast corner of the island. It is located near Heketā, the second capital of the Tuʻi Tonga Empire. Niutoua is situated 3½ km southeast of Kolonga.

Nukuleka is a small fishing village on the north-east coast of the island of Tongatapu, Kingdom of Tonga. In January 2008, Canadian archaeologist David V. Burley claimed that it was the "cradle of Polynesia". Nukuleka is situated 6 km southwest of Kolonga.

Muʻa is a small town in the Hahake district on the island of Tongatapu, and it was for centuries the ancient capital of the Tuʻi Tonga Empire. It is divided in the villages Lapaha and Tatakamotonga, is close to Talasiu and famous for the ancient langi. Muʻa is situated 8 km southwest of Kolonga.
