is a town in , , . On January 18, 1906, landowners Charles E. Waller, Charles Lightman and M.H. Murphy sold at public auction a great number of individual business and residential lots which would be developed into the town of , Alabama. is situated 4½ miles east of Childs Ferry Point.

is a city in and the county seat of , United States. At the 2020 census, its population was 2,937. The city was named in honor of the Battle of Springs, the last engagement of the American Revolutionary War in the Carolinas.
