White County is a county located in the U.S. state of . As of the 2020 census, the population was 76,822. The county seat is . White County is Arkansas's 31st county, formed on October 23, 1835, from portions of Independence, , and counties and named for Hugh Lawson White, a Whig candidate for President of the United States.
