The White House is situated 280 metres west of Hotel Washington.

Part of the Executive Office of the President of the United States, it is in the West Wing of the White House, in Washington, D.C. The oval room has three large windows facing the South Lawn, in front of which the president's desk traditionally stands, and a fireplace at the north end. The Oval Office is situated 340 metres west of Hotel Washington.
