Virginia Key is an 863-acre barrier island in Miami, Florida. It is located in Biscayne Bay south of Brickell and north of Key Biscayne and is accessible from the mainland via the Rickenbacker Causeway.

Miami Marine Stadium

The Miami Marine Stadium is a marine stadium on Virginia Key, Miami, Florida, United States. The facility, completed in 1963 on land donated to the City of Miami from the Matheson family, is the first stadium purpose-built for powerboat racing in the United States.

Fisher Island is a census-designated place in Miami-Dade County, Florida, United States, located on a barrier island of the same name. Since 2015, Fisher Island has had the highest per capita income of any place in the United States. Fisher Island is situated 2½ miles northeast of Bear Cut.

Key Biscayne

Key Biscayne refers to both a tropical island just southeast of Miami and a village on that island. The Village of Key Biscayne, incorporated on June 18, 1991, is in the center of the four-mile-long, two-mile-wide barrier island between the Atlantic Ocean and Biscayne Bay.

Downtown Miami is a district in Miami, steel-and-glass buildings have sprung up around downtown, the heart of the city. By day there's plenty of activity downtown, as suited lawyers and bankers share the sidewalks with Latino merchants wearing open-neck, intricately embroidered shirts called guayaberas. Brickell is situated 3 miles northwest of Bear Cut.
