It is right on the northeast municipal boundary of Pinellas Park, 9 miles north of downtown St. Petersburg, 7 miles southeast of Clearwater, and 17 miles southwest of Tampa. Saint Petersburg–Clearwater International Airport is situated 1½ miles east of Highpoint.
