Hamilton is a city in, and the county seat of Harris County, Georgia, United States. It is part of the Columbus, Georgia metropolitan area. The population was 1,680 at the 2020 census, up from 307 at the 2000 census. Hamilton is situated 2½ miles south of Lake Lorraine.

The Harris County portion of Pine Mountain is part of the Columbus, Georgia metropolitan area, while the small portion that extends into Meriwether County is part of the Atlanta metropolitan area. Pine Mountain is situated 5 miles north of Lake Lorraine.
