Jacks Knob is a mountain located on the border of Towns County and Union County, Georgia, with a peak elevation of 3,813 feet. The Appalachian Trail crosses the southern flank of the mountain and Jacks Knob Trail ends here at an intersection with the Appalachian Trail.
Horsetrough Mountain

Horsetrough Mountain, with a summit elevation of 4,045 feet, is located in Union and White counties in northeastern Georgia, USA. It is also within the boundaries of the Chattahoochee National Forest and is part of the Mark Trail Wilderness. Horsetrough Mountain is situated 2 miles south of Salt Gap.

Wolfpen Ridge is a ridge in the Blue Ridge Mountains in U.S. state of Georgia that runs south to north along the boundary between Towns and Union counties. Brasstown Bald, the highest point in Georgia, is located at the northern end of the ridge. Wolfpen Ridge is situated 2½ miles north of Salt Gap.
