The Lawrence County Courthouse, located at 1100 State St. in Lawrenceville, is the county courthouse serving Lawrence County, Illinois. Built in 1888–89, the courthouse is the third used by the county; all three courthouses were built at the same site in Lawrenceville's public square.

Lawrenceville High School is a 9th–12th grade high school located in Lawrenceville, Illinois. Lawrenceville has won four state championships and as of 2012 has the state record for the longest winning streak of 68–0, accomplished during the 1982 and 1983 seasons.
