Effingham station is an Amtrak intercity train station in Effingham, Illinois, United States. The station contains three houses, at the CSXT St. Louis Line Subdivision crossing that once served Amtrak's former National Limited line between Kansas City and either Washington D.C. or New York City until 1979. Effingham station is situated 2,000 feet southeast of West Side Grade School.

Built in 1871, the building was originally the Effingham County Courthouse. Effingham County Cultural Center and Museum is situated 3,500 feet east of West Side Grade School.

The Cross at the Crossroads, also known as The Cross, is a 198-foot tall, 113-foot spanning cross in Effingham, Illinois. It was built in 2001 after its creator was inspired by a similar cross in Groom, Texas. The Cross at the Crossroads is situated 1¼ miles southwest of West Side Grade School.
