Poland is an unincorporated community in eastern Cass Township, Clay County, Indiana, United States. It lies along State Road 42 southeast of the city of Brazil, the county seat of Clay County.

Cagles Mill Lake, also known as Cataract Lake or Cagle's Mill Reservoir or Lieber Reservoir, is a reservoir located near Cataract, Indiana, in Lieber State Recreation Area, in west central Indiana on the borders of Putnam and Owen counties. Cagle Mill is situated 3½ miles northeast of Nier Cemetery.
